Today we’re very excited to reveal our latest Beano Brain report.
Over the last year we’ve gathered spontaneous mentions and observed brand interactions with our longitudinal Trendspotter panel of kids and teens age 7-14 to create a shortlist of brands that have created a buzz.
This was then ranked by 30,000 UK kids and teens via our bespoke omnibus to create a definitive Top 50 list of the Coolest Brands according to Gen Alpha and Gen Z.
It’s a list that reflects multiple categories, online and offline, child specific and non-specific brands and highlights the sophistication and diversity of these young consumers.
YouTube is number one with Netflix, McDonald’s, Amazon and Disney making up the rest of the Top Five.
There are some notable gender differences, with social brands like TikTok firmly in the top 10 for girls and gaming brands Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox featuring in the top 10 for boys.
